Tuesday, August 5th -  The Willis Clan,
7:30 pm

The Willis Clan

Some families go for quantity, some go for quality. But the Willis Clan asks, is it too much to ask for both?

The Willis Clan is a family like you have never seen. Parents Brenda and Toby and their 12 home-schooled children are a family of musicians, dancers, athletes, artists and writers living in Nashville, Tennessee.

Living on the South side of Chicago, Brenda and Toby Willis were surrounded by Irish culture, however, they were not aware of most of it. But then cam Riverdance and Toby and Breda were awestruck. Breda recalls “We had four young kids at the time, three of them girls. We wanted to get them involved in music and some type of sport but didn’t know what to do. When we saw Riverdance, we found our answer.”   Click here to read more...

Wednesday, August 6th - Terry Lee Goffee, The "Ultimate" Johnny Cash Tribute - 7:30 pm

Terry Lee Goffee
The "Ultimate" Johnny Cash Tribute

In the spring of 1955 Johnny Cash walked into the legendary Sun Recording Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. The music world was never the same.
Not long afterward, I put my first Johnny Cash record on a turntable and my world was never the same.

I have been a fan of Johnny Cash since I was 6. He and Elvis were my first two musical influences. I always felt Johnny's music got better over the years. Cash’s songs addressed a lot of issues common to a lot of people, whether it was sensitive social issues or just some slice of life the average person could relate to.

Having firsthand knowledge of others who were doing tributes and, wanting to honor my musical hero, I decided to start performing "Train of Love: A Tribute to Johnny Cash."   Click here to read more....

Friday, August 8th - Lipstick Rodeo, 7:30pm opening act for The Guess Who starting at 8:30pm

The Guess Who

The Guess Who, the band that became Canada’s first international rock music superstars, began in 1962 in Winnipeg as Chad Allen & The Reflections.  Including members Randy Bachman (guitar), Jim Kale (bass) and Garry Peterson (drums), Chad Allen and the Reflections had become Chad Allen and the Expressions by the time they recorded a cover of “Shakin’ All Over”, released by Quality Records in 1965.  The song was a #1 single in Canada and reached #22 in America.  Burton Cummings joined the group that same year, replacing the keyboard player and sharing lead vocals.

Quality Records released the group’s first single and album, Shakin’ All Over, in a plain white record jacket with only the question “Guess Who?” written on it.  The marketing ploy capitalized on curiosity and the promise of another British Invasion band.  It worked.  After selling two million copies the band had its trademark name: The Guess Who.  Following the success of Shakin’ All Over, the band toured the U.S. as part of Dick Clark’s Caravan of Stars Road Revue and in 1967 they landed a regular spot on the CBC-TV show, Where It’s At Click here to read more.....

ARIAT Presents...

Josh Turner's Roughstock and
Rambler Tour

Josh Turner

One of country music’s most recognizable hit-makers earning numerous CMA, ACM and GRAMMY nominations since the release of his debut album, Long Black Train, Josh Turner has sold more than five million albums and garnered four No. 1 hits (including three multi-week chart-toppers): "Your Man," "Would You Go With Me," and "Why Don't We Just Dance" (a four-week No. 1 that was named the most-played song of the year in 2010 by MediaBase). His song, "All Over Me," from Haywire also reached the top spot on the charts, making him one of only seven country artists to have two No. 1 hits in 2010.

A Hannah, S.C. native, Turner has been songwriting and performing since he was a young child, and in support of music education, created The Josh Turner Scholarship Fund to assist students interested in pursuing a future in arts/music. As a high school student, he had very little access to music education, therefore realizes first-hand the importance of arts in the schools.

Turner released his fifth studio album, Punching Bag on June 12, 2012 which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. The debut single, “Time is Love” was #1 on the Best of 2012 Billboard Country Chart. The Associated Press says, “With Punching Bag, Turner once again proves he ranks among the most effective -- and most hard-core country -- performers of his generation.”
